Technical Details

To our knowledge, the most durable production board on the market!

With its unique double-sandwich construction, the WE FREEWAVE is undoubtedly the most robust production board available. We spared no expense in materials: the entire deck is built with high-quality BIAX carbon, and all high-stress areas are reinforced with carbon-Kevlar fibers.

A meticulously tested stringer system integrated into the hull, combined with the double-sandwich construction and resulting stiffness, ensures outstanding early planing, top speed, and precise handling with maximum control and comfort.

Features:

Footpads: Ultra-comfortable 10mm thick footpads with excellent cushioning (heel bumpers). The diamond structure and pressed crocodile pattern provide a secure, slip-resistant grip.
Footstrap Screws: All footstrap positions are double-screwed for twist-proof mounting. The footstrap plugs are made of extra-durable plastic, making screw tear-outs nearly impossible.
Air Vents: All board sizes are equipped with two original GORE® Goretex vents. These vents guarantee optimal reliability and performance by automatically equalizing pressure between the atmosphere and the board interior, reducing stress and extending the board's lifespan.

Fin Boxes: The side fin boxes (SLOT boxes) feature 5mm stainless steel hex screws with brass inserts for durability. The center fins use two 8" US boxes, allowing for your favorite fins and versatile custom setups.
Rails: Carbon-reinforced rails allow you to land flat on the water without worrying about the board breaking in two. For added scratch resistance, the rails are coated with a clear lacquer.
Deck Coating: The WE ONE board deck coating was newly developed by us. It offers excellent slip resistance and is highly durable. Even after prolonged use with neoprene shoes, the grip remains intact.
Hull: The hull is coated with a specially developed paint featuring a unique surface structure. This reduces water surface tension, enabling quicker planing and higher speeds compared to standard coatings.
